IEICE technical committee meeting of Smart Radios at Kagoshima
The May meeting of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers’ Smart Radios was held at the Workers’ Communication Center in front of Kagoshima Chuo Station. I attended this meeting.
When I came back to JR Kagoshima Chuo Station for the first time in a while, it had become a large building. Also, the location of the tram station had changed.
I walked from Kagoshima Chuo Station towards Cancse Building, where the Workers’ Center is located, and there was also an AEON supermarket.
This is the Canse Building, and the guide says that the Kagoshima City Workers’ Center is located on the 7th floor.
The meeting venue was clean and comfortable.
At the meeting, I listened to research on in-vehicle radar, radio wave demodulation methods, energy transmission in space, non-terrestrial networks, etc. I also gave a presentation entitled “Intermittent reception of L1S signals broadcast from quasi-zenith satellite Michibiki.”
The view from the Workers’ Exchange Center is also wonderful.
I also attended the social gathering held on the first night. I am very grateful to Professor Inamori of Tokai University for organizing such a wonderful event.
