Hiroshima is the largest city in the Chugoku-Shikoku region of Japan. It is a city where the Shinkansen (bullet train) “Nozomi” also stops. In the center of Hiroshima, which spreads around the bus center, there are shops familiar in Tokyo such as Sogo, Parco, Mitsukoshi, and Tokyu Hands, and there is also a downtown area called Nagarekawa. There are various types of shops within walking distance, which is convenient. A river runs through the city and is surrounded by water and greenery.

Hiroshima Airport in Higashi-Hiroshima City is Sapporo (Japan Airlines/All Nippon Airlines), Sendai (ANA), Haneda (JAL/ANA), Narita (IBEX and ANA code share), Okinawa (ANA), and Seoul, Bangkok, Guam. We connect to various places such as Beijing by regular flights. From Hiroshima Airport to Hiroshima City, it is common to take the airport limousine bus bound for “Hiroshima Bus Center” or “JR Hiroshima Station”. Accommodation and city travel

The center of Hiroshima is near the Hiroshima Bus Center. You can stay near JR Hiroshima Station or near Hiroshima Bus Center, but it is more convenient to stay near Hiroshima Bus Center when you go to Municipal University. This is because you can reach Hiroshima City University from the Hiroshima Bus Center with a single bus.

Tourism

The World Heritage Atomic Bomb Dome and the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum are right next to the bus center.

To reach another World Heritage Site, Miyajima, in Hiroshima, take a JR or tram from the city to Miyajima, which is about 40 minutes one way, and then take a ferry. JR will arrive earlier at Miyajima Station. Miyajima Ferry is operated by JR and Hiroden Bus. The one operated by JR passes near the torii gate of Miyajima, but the one operated by Hiroden Bus arrives earlier.

In addition, there are many Hiroshima specialty shops such as “Okonomiyaki” and “Oyster dishes (good in winter)” both near JR Hiroshima Station and in Hiroshima City.

Hiroshima City University

From JR Hiroshima Station, take the JR Sanyo Main Line or JR Kabe Line for two sections to Yokogawa, and transfer to the bus from Yokogawa Station. You can use a tram between JR Hiroshima Station and Hiroshima Bus Center.
